Movies and/or TV Shows

Getting IMDb ID from their site

Go to IMDb and search for the content you're looking for.
Some browsers hide the 'full' URL now by default, so once you find what you want, click in the URL bar and it should show the entire thing. Double click the part of the URL that starts with tt followed by numbers and it should highlight only that section. Use Ctrl+C (Cmd+C on macOS) to copy this.

Getting IMDb ID from Sonarr/Radarr

If you use Sonarr and/or Radarr, you can find the IMDb ID without going to their site if you'd like.

Sonarr

Click the show of interest first.
SonarrIMDB
Hover over "Links" and right-click "IMDB" and select "Copy Link Address"

Radarr

On the movie list (in Table View)
RadarrTableView
Next, hover over the popup near the far right and right-click "IMDb", select "Copy Link Address"
RadarrIMDB

Last Step

With both Sonarr and Radarr, you should end up with a link copied similar to this:

Text Only
http://imdb.com/title/tt11011104/
You want only the tt11011104 part, so head to nzb4u and right-click in the search box and select Paste. Now delete the 'junk' so you're left with the ID part only. Press Enter to search.

Secret Tip

If you know of an actor/actress that is "Top Billed" for the movie, or the Director's name, you can also search for that. This will only find movies and tv where there name are pulled via the script we use on the site to display IMDb info in threads. This will FAIL on a lot of searches, but you may get lucky.

Software

Windows / macOS

Info

By default, if a program does not contain the phrase macOS, Mac, or Apple it is assumed the software is for Windows.
Some exceptions may apply.

Whenever possible, add the company name to your search (on your first try). For example: "Adobe Photoshop" instead of "Photoshop" or "Microsoft Office", then add in macOS or Mac if you want that, otherwise skip that part. If you find your desired application is not listed, try again without the Company name for a broader search.

Games

Windows / macOS / Nintendo Switch

To help fine tune your search, on any page, hover over "Apps/Books/Sports/Games" near the top and select either "Games or Switch Games".

Windows

Games can include both Windows or Mac games, please include 'macOS' or 'Mac' if that's specifically what you're looking for, otherwise it's not required for Windows.

Nintendo Switch

This category is ONLY Switch games and required software related to gaming. Just search for the game title.

Once you've entered the desired category, you'll see the button for "New Topic" with a search field next to that... Using this field will ONLY search that section of the site and remove all others from your search, helping to narrow it down massively.

Music

To help fine tune your search, near the top of any page, hover over Music and select either "Albums / Discog", "Singles", or "Music Videos" and on the resulting page, next to the "New Topic" near the top, there is a search bar that will search only that section.

For those unfamiliar with the term

Discog = Discography (as in 'all' albums available in a set)

Ebooks / Audiobooks

To help fine tune your search, on any page, hover over "Apps/Books/Sports/Games" near the top and select either "E-Books" or "Audio Books" and on the resulting page, next to the "New Topic" near the top, there is a search bar that will search only that section.
